We are a group
of volunteers from different sectors in the community, joined together with the
common interest of showcasing a kaleidoscope of Philippine culture and
traditions: from the Cordillera mountain province of Northern Luzon, the native
and tribal dance of Islamic Mindanao, the Spanish influenced dances and from
the traditional rural Christian lowland dances in expression of the Filipino
way of life.
Through our dance performances and cultural stage productions and appearances, we hope to establish and provide opportunities for our Filipino–American youth and our non-Filipino friends to gain knowledge and appreciation of our cultural heritage, foster friendships in the community and create fundraising events in support of our cultural endeavors and community service missions.
